A Great Man Passed Away...

A few days ago, John Conway passed away. He was a great mathematician, the one who gave life to the cellular automaton known as "Conway's Game of Life".

Without him and his work, this game probably wouldn't exist. Cellular automata already existed, but the one he created really resonated with the people and, ultimately, inspired us into making our own.

Rest in peace, Mr. Conway.
