  • Hold left mouse button - Paint with current brush
  • Press right mouse button - Change current brush (creep > fire > wall)

About
The first Epitacle prototype was made by bodro and qw3rtyuu in more or less 12 hours as an experiment with cellular automata. Its organic and hypnotic patterns obey deterministic rules. Player inputs and a little randomness are used to keep things interesting.

The newer version uses shaders to optimize cell computation. As a result, the grid now contains sixteen times more cells and still achieves to be updated faster.

very satisfying! The walls are a bit confusing or glitchy though

You are right, the rules for walls is not really intuitive. What do you suggest? We wanted to have walls destructible a little
